A lovely couple from Sunderland wanted to update their bedroom. We visited their property and discussed their requirements and ideas and together built a plan for proposed work. This involved demolishing a disused chimney breast which would allow a complete layout change to give their bedroom more storage and a more user-friendly space.
Once the quotation and cad drawings were completed, choices were made regarding colour and finish of furniture and a price was agreed. Our customers were happy in the knowledge that we could manage their project from start to finish and they would not have the hassle of calling in different trades and co-ordinating the work to be carried out themselves.
Whilst undertaking the fit we replaced the floor as it was discovered on strip out that the floorboards underneath were rotten. The old bay window was also removed and updated, the room was plastered and electrics moved to suit the new layout. This included replacing the central light fitting with spotlights.
Once the room was ready we fitted the bedroom furniture according to plan and within the week our couple had a finished room that contained much more storage space than they originally had, but still felt spacious, organised and modern. The finished room was decorated in vibrant colours and patterns to give a modern finish in their traditional home. Our customers were so pleased with the finished result that they have since highly recommended us to friends and family and have come back to us with ideas for further work in their home.
